My Career Journey
Like many people, I had difficulty finding employment aligned with my interests, values, and skills upon graduation. However, with some creativity, initiative, persistence, and support, I created a rewarding, mission-driven career.
As my career continued, I encountered bumps in the road, like ill-fitting roles and corporate cultures, which provided insights into what was important to me. By cultivating a growth mindset, I increased my resiliency and derived great satisfaction from my work as a sustainability leader, environmental protection advocate, and, later, strategic communications professional.
Over time, people sought me out for career guidance. I enjoyed assisting people at various career stages to clarify their goals and position themselves for their target roles.
I found the work so rewarding that I decided to launch a coaching practice that would allow me to deepen my impact.
During the day, I worked full-time as an environmental protection lobbyist and, later, director of strategic communications for a sustainability office. Early mornings, nights, and weekends, I developed my coaching practice.
I invested in my learning and growth to provide the best service possible. Through the National Career Development Association, I became a Certified Career Services Provider and later a Master Certified Life Coach through the Certified Life Coach Institute.
After years of coaching on the side, I decided to pursue my coaching practice full-time to focus on supporting people in creating rewarding, impactful careers. It is an honor to co-create meaningful experiences with my clients.
